Revitalization of the Solinky housing estate

The subject of revitalization are public spaces in the defined area of ​​the original housing estate. The revitalization concept is based on full respect for the existing framework of public spaces, transport infrastructure and main pedestrian routes. The solution supports, completes, or organizes the spaces. The solution also includes the rehabilitation of tall trees with poor health, invasive trees and trees lying on the Bytterm hot water networks, where the reconstruction of the hot water pipe is planned.
The solution accepts the requirements for revitalization and completion of playgrounds, sports fields, workouts, gathering areas, pedestrian routes, water features, elements supporting the local community /community gardens, community center/. Elements of small architecture are removed throughout the area – former carpet dusters and dryers, as well as old play elements without the necessary certificates.
The urban study comprehensively addresses the entire concept of placing exclusively semi-underground containers for solid waste and municipal solid waste in direct connection with the creation/relocation of parking spaces and revitalization of greenery.
The center of Solinek occupies a special position in the developed area, where, in connection with the Green Square project, a pedestrian promenade connects Borová Street to the Church of the Good Shepherd with a small park.
